Its aim was to build confidence, strengthen creative identity, and enhance employability within the creative industries.

Vantage HIV

In the Vantage HIV Project, I assisted in the challenge of low adherence to antiretroviral (ARV) medication and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) usage among adolescent girls and young women at risk of HIV. I collaborated with the BCA team to create a comprehensive behavioural journey. Touchpoints were linked to key motivations. Through community radio spots, social media messaging, and personalised reminders, the project successfully improved adherence, aligning nudges with specific motivations. This case study illustrates the power of behavioural design in public health, demonstrating how strategic touchpoints can drive meaningful behaviour change in vulnerable populations.

Sibabalwe Bakery

The Sibabalwe Bakery campaign was implemented to promote safe flame-based cooking practices. The behavioural intervention utilised a novel community-based bread-baking concept. Households in South Africa use dangerous and inefficient cookstoves facing significant health risks. In mitigation, we employed co-creative workshops and emo-demo campaigns, ultimately influencing motivations linked to cooking with fire resulting in positive shift in cookstove ownership patterns.

During the Commonwealth Games, I assisted the design of a remote real-time digital video production system to assist coaching staff. The system enabled the seamless capture and relay of athletic performance, revolutionising the coaching experience. My expertise extended to training and mentoring the team in non-linear video editing and the creation of digital coaching tools.

The multimedia content created successfully captured attention and interest at the expo, highlighting the beauty and attractions of South Africa.
